About these terms

These terms are a contract between you and GarageDoorProHQ,483 Chaiyaphruek 3 Alley, Muang Pattaya, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri 20150, Thailand ("we", "us"), and govern your use of garagedoorprohq.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

Your use of our content

The content on this website was created, compiled, prepared, selected and arranged by us, using our own methods and judgment and through the expenditure of substantial time and effort. The Service and its content are proprietary and protected by these terms, copyright law and other intellectual property laws, including as a collective work or compilation. We provide it for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not use, or authorise a third party to use, the Service or its content in any manner that (i) is a source of or substitute for the Service or its content; (ii) affects our ability to earn money in connection with the Service; or (iii) competes with the Service. These restrictions apply to any robot, spider, scraper, crawler or other automated means, and to any similar manual process. You agree not to bypass any robot exclusion headers or other measures limiting automated access.

You may quote short extracts for comment, review or news reporting, provided you credit GarageDoorProHQ and link to the page you took them from.

One exception, and it is deliberate. Business listing data on this site derives from Foursquare Open Source Places, distributed by the Overture Maps Foundation under the Apache License 2.0. That underlying data remains available to you under its own licence directly from its source, and nothing in these terms purports to restrict your rights in it. What we claim is our selection, filtering, verification, arrangement and written content — not the openly licensed facts themselves.

Cost guides are estimates, not professional advice

Our guides publish typical price ranges and averages for garage door work. These are general information drawn from market research. They are not a quote, an appraisal, or professional engineering, financial, legal or tax advice, and they do not account for your specific door, opening, opener or local market.

Prices change and vary considerably by region, season, door size and installer. Always obtain written quotes before making a decision, and rely on the contractor's assessment rather than ours.

Safety content

Some of our content describes work that is dangerous, in particular anything involving garage door springs and cables, which hold substantial stored energy. Where we advise against a task, that advice is deliberate and we do not publish instructions for it. Nothing on this Service is a substitute for a qualified technician, and any work you choose to attempt is at your own risk.

Directory listings

Our directory includes garage door business information compiled from openly licensed and publicly available business data. We are not affiliated with, and do not endorse, recommend, certify, vet or guarantee any listed business. A listing is not a recommendation, and we do not rank businesses by quality. No business pays for inclusion, position or prominence.

What licence verification does and does not mean. In California, Florida and Arizona — the only states that license garage door work as a distinct trade — a listing may show a verified licence badge. That badge means one specific thing: we matched a licence number to a record on that state's public register at the date shown. It does not mean we have verified insurance, workmanship, pricing, qualifications, or that the licence remains current now. We do not inspect work and we do not visit businesses. Everywhere else, no licence is checked because there is no garage-door-specific state register to check against, and those pages say so.

Listings are provided for information only. Any dealings you have with a listed business — including any contract, payment or dispute — are solely between you and that business. We are not a party to them and accept no responsibility for them. We recommend you verify licensing and insurance independently before hiring anyone.

Information may be incomplete, out of date or inaccurate. If you own a listed business and want your entry corrected or removed, email contact@garagedoorprohq.com.

Submitting a listing

If you submit your business to us, you confirm you are authorised to do so and that the information you give is accurate. We may publish, decline, edit or remove any submission at our discretion, and we do not guarantee that a submitted business will be listed or remain listed. We do not charge for listing, and paying us is not an option we offer.

Advertising and commercial relationships

We may display advertising served by third-party advertising networks and technology providers, and by media agencies, exchanges and their partners acting for advertisers. We may also participate in affiliate or referral arrangements under which we earn a commission.

Advertising is selected by those third parties and its presence is not an endorsement by us. Advertising never affects which businesses are listed or in what order. Where we have a commercial relationship that could reasonably affect how you read our content, we will disclose it. How advertising affects your data is explained in our privacy policy.

Third-party links and content

The Service links to third-party websites, including state licensing registers, and embeds third-party content such as maps. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own risk.

Availability

We provide the Service "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or continuously available, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness or fitness for purpose of the Service and its content. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service — including any decision to repair or replace a garage door or opener, any dealings with a listed business, any reliance on a licence check, or any costs that differ from our published estimates.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what data we collect, the cookies we set and your rights over that data. It forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date shown above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer rights available under the law of the country where you live.
